Where Pure Joy and Memories Collide

This girl and her camera...great things are going to happen for her. She has a laugh that you can't help but share in and a generous, kind spirit. Her name is Jaimin, and she is the artist and photographer behind Elated Stills Photography. 

I remember the first time I got her in front of my camera. She was young and full of fire. Her portraits are some of my favorite ones I've ever taken, still to this day. I am so glad for the chance to work with her again, not only for new headshots for her website, but also a brand new logo for her growing photography business. She's got some sweet skills and I can't wait to see where her journey in photography takes her. 

Through this process I was able to help her settle on the new name for her business: Elated Stills Photography. It went through a couple revisions, but she was very sure of how she wanted her dream clients to feel when they saw the name and interacted with her brand: full of joy and a savoring of the memories. I think the name perfectly captures her intent and I had so much fun matching that with fonts, colors and elements that combined to become her logo. 

Here is her branding board which includes her full logo, logo variation, colors and her tagline. I just love how it all came together. 

Then it was time to combine everything: her new logo, her colors, her tagline and her headshots into a beautiful and clean website. It was such a fun project!

I think she is going to go far with her big dreams and the plans she has. She wants to be a National Geographic photographer and travel the world taking pictures of all sorts of places and people and animals. I have no doubt that if she puts her mind to it, she will accomplish all she sets out to do. 

I am so proud of her; proud of the woman she has become and the artist she is growing into.
